SEMH (Social, Emotional, Mental Health) covers a wide range of special educational needs. This includes young people with emotional difficulties, conduct/hyper-kinetic difficulties - including attention deficit disorder or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADD/ADHD) and Autism.
The Harmony Centre specialises in supporting young people whose behavioural difficulties may also be less obvious. For example - those with anxiety, who self-harm, have emotional based school avoidance or depression and those who's behaviour or emotional well-being are seen to be deteriorating. Harmony can support parents and carers of the young people concerned.
